I have sent the Archive logs and my PROFILE.INI file to the support email address. So, I'm not sure if this is an issue because of the fresh sync from Thunderbird or Pocket Informant considering the entries as new. However, I did notice that my chosen tune for my contacts had disappeared (I am using Pocket Informant). Looking at my contacts on the mobile phone are not duplicated, plus one new entry on the mobile phone was sync'd back to Thunderbird. It should have synchronised only about half a dozen to a dozen entries. For cards, it was something along the lines of 432 entries. However, I found that it re-synchronised all my cards, events, and tasks. When I connected my mobile phone, it synchronised without producing any errors (as it did last time). They re-appeared when I clicked on "Use current Thunderbird" on the Thunderbird tab. I noticed that looking at the address book (for example) that no address books were available. Once in the options for BirdieSync, I had to re-establish what directories are used for Thunderbird. Then executed Thunderbird and went into the options for BirdieSync. I changed my Profile.INI to point to the new location. ![]() ![]() Today, I moved my profile directory from "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles" to my TrueCrypt volume. I installed the latest version and ran with it for a few days to be sure all was fine with my environment. Thanks for the support and the great application. This will give you another view on what your users are trying to achieve. When I tried to sync, I got an error "Unresolved Thunderbird Profile" and something about not being able to associate to the profile name. Oh, by the way, I renamed the original folder, to ensure I wasn't using it. Rebooted (to play safe) and started Thunderbird. See the following link for details on moving your profile. I then edited the "profiles.ini" file that sits under "%AppData%\Thunderbird\" folder, to point to the new home of my profile. Then under the profile copied the directory, eg fault to be under profiles. Once working, I created a new folder on my TrueCrypt volume, eg x:\data\thunderbird\profiles. I have Thunderbird (TB)/Lightning installed on WindowsXP and the original set up (simplest way to go to make sure things work) as per TB install. Hi, I to put my hand up looking for the same type of solution that zeroed is wanting.
